Stone House Farm is a charming eco agri-tourism destination located in Busu Village, Iganga District, just a (135 km) drive from Kampala via Kampala-Jinja Expy and Jinja-Tororo Rd/A109. And (40.0 km) via Jinja-Tororo Rd/A109.

This small working farm offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in rural Ugandan life, connect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside.

Accommodation at Stone House Farm, Busu Village, Iganga

Stone House Farm offers authentic and eco-friendly accommodation options designed to immerse you in the beauty of rural Uganda.

  • Heritage Mud and Grass House: Comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults in a traditional Busoga-style home made from natural mud and grass materials, preserving local architectural heritage.

  • Camping Facilities: Spacious camping grounds are available where you can pitch your own tents, accommodating up to 20 guests for a true outdoor experience.

Our accommodations are thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly into the natural environment. Built primarily from eco-friendly materials such as mud, grass, and bricks, the structures highlight sustainable construction methods that respect the landscape.

We harness solar energy to power water pumps, and water is sustainably harvested from rainwater tanks or drawn from a borehole using a generator and pump, ensuring a reliable and eco-conscious water supply.
