Scaling Up Value Addition: Boosting Farm Profitability at Stone House Farm and Busu village
Our aim is to elevate our Busu community’s focus, wealth, and economy beyond just raw cassava, Sugarcane, maize and coffee beans.
Our goals:
1. Reconnect our community to our indigenous Ugandan agricultural knowledge and artisan skills with the aim of fostering economic growth within Busu village.
2. Enhance the value of our farms, transportation, and homes in Busu village by being supported exclusively by ethically sourced green energy.
3. Shape our future by creating a skilling program for youth with indigenous arts and hand work skills,sustainable farming Skills & IT Programs designed to further educate and inspire the next generation to invest in the land, focusing on preservation of our heritage, culture and nature.
4. Encourage a return to the use of herbal natural medication to further enhance the value of our lands and businesses.
5. Construct sustainable eco-friendly eco-lodge that will create additional jobs and income opportunities, while also providing valuable knowledge.
